I used to love reading harlequin super romances, I remember spending weeks with my grandmother reading them together. now that I've had a taste of the more racy stuff, this one bored me to tears. plus it was aggravating. A chick gets knocked up and marries a guy friend to give the baby a dad. oh puhlease, cry me a river, as if singlemomhood was the end of the world, it makes me sick.

Pam Carver finds that she is pregnant but cannot tell the baby's father due to his circumstances at home. Teacher Grant Gilbert offers to marry her for a period of one year to give the baby a name and in return she will help him with his 15 year old son who is coming to live with him for the summer.

Pam was pregnant but not by Grant. Their marriage was an arrangement. Andy, Grant's son, played an important role in keeping a secret but also keeping his family "intact". This was a relaxing and cute read!

You're My Baby by Laura Abbot. Another great, quick read. One of those books I had to keep taking breaks from, because I was reading it too fast. :)

Laura Abbot was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Her very arrival on the planet is a romantic plot device. Her parents, married five years, had been unable to have children. Her dad was working two jobs and under a great deal of stress. A wise doctor suggested that they needed a prolonged vacation away from home where they would feel free to — er — do the deed. Often. Day or night. H ...more
