Mari Carr (Goodreads Author),
Lexxie Couper (Goodreads Author)
Flying halfway ’round the world to meet his potential soul mate sounds like a fine idea to Dylan Sullivan—until he discovers said soul mate, Annie, has gone looking for him. In Australia. Now Dylan’s adrift, a bloke from the Outback alone in the bloody big city. Until he’s rescued by Monet, a gorgeous local artist…and Annie’s best friend.

4 1/2 Real Man Stars for the Delicious Dylan!!! RAWRRRRR!!
“I’m a stockman, not a cowboy. Haven’t been a boy since my balls dropped and I started shaving. And I’m just here to seduce the beautiful women on your side of the pond. Show them what a real man is like.”
Book 2 in this fun series, follows Dylan Sullivan as he heads to NYC to meet Annie, the woman he believes is his soul-mate. Only when he gets there, he finds out Annie is on her way to Australia to find him. Dylan is temporarily taken i...more

Misplaced Cowboy is book two in the Foreign Affairs series by Lexxie Couper and Mari Carr. Yet again they have knocked this one out of the park. I had high expectations after book one, and didn’t know how they would top it, but ohhhh did they ever!! If you haven’t read book one stop what you are doing and grab it!! These two are intertwined.
I am so in love with Dylan!! He has traveled all the way to America to meet Annie, who we met in book one. Only probl...more

Awwww! So sweet. A bit insta-love (within five days??), but that's what happened.
In Misplaced Princess, Annie and Dylan got their signals crossed. Annie ended up in Australia with Dylan's identical twin (with whom she fell in love). Dylan ended up in New York with only Annie's address. Not even his bag, which Qantas lost. Luckily, he bumped into Annie's best friend and neighbor, Monet, not too long after he gets to Annie's, and is promptly turned away by the doorman. But Monet realizes who he i...more

Lack of communication. Dylan has been an online pen pal of Annie for awhile and they talk about meeting. So Dylan hops a plane and flies to New York, from Australia and doesnt tell her he's coming. Meanwhile, Annie hops a plane to Austraila.
Dylan waits at her apartment until her neighbor and best friend show up and she takes him under his wing.
But there is lust involved. And fists. As Dylan's mom knows art, so does Dylan and since Monet is an artist.......We'll see where this romance goes. he d...more

This was the other half of the 'merry mix-up' that started in Misplaced Princess. This time around we get to see what happened when Dylan ended up in New York City and found out Annie had gone to Australia, leaving him all alone for days on end with her best friend Monet.
Cute story, thankfully it didn't overdo the 'Crocodile Dundee' which would have ruined it. There was a little too much of this that was too 'familiar'; and I think I preferred Hunter and Annie's story. Still, it was a fun and se...more

I have fallen in love with Aussie's! Both Misplaced Princess & it's sequel (just released) Misplaced Cowboy are amazing! I love how Mari and Lexxie have given a true insight into another world. The language and terms make it feel very real that people are from two different countries rather than just setting up information in the beginning of the book. I love how both the guys fall head over heels!!! It's not just a girl swooning over another guy :) And of course there is always the fact tha...more

Holy hot cowboys! If I had to pick between the two Sullivan brothers I would not be able to make up my mind. MISPLACED COWBOY takes place at the same time as MISPLACED PRINCESS. Dylan Sullivan had met Annie on an online dating site and they'd been chatting for months. When they finally plan to meet, Dylan understands that he's supposed to fly to New York to meet her, and Annie thinks she's supposed to go to Australia. Of course Annie ended up meeting and...more

Let me start of by reading the quote that makes me feel famous.
Hunter had challenged him to a ride-off at the Wagga Wagga rodeo and he'd ended up on the back of the meanest bull on the Australian circuit.
Did you see THAT??? Did you figure out why I'm so freakin excited?? They mentioned WAGGA WAGGA!!! It's like I'm famous by association. I live in Wagga Wagga...Nobody knows about Wagga Wagga. Oh my GOSH!!
So I'm reading this absolutely awesome story about a sexy ass Australian stockman...more

Writing a book was number one on Mari Carr’s bucket list and on her thirty-fourth birthday, she set out to see that goal achieved. Five years later, her computer is jammed full of stories — novels, novellas, short stories and dead-ends and six of her books have been published.
