I do so love a pirate. And although we didn't really get to see our pirate in action on the high seas (alas, no tension-filled scenes between the pirate and his lady in a too-small captains's berth), there was certainly action.
Frothy and fun, despite the darker undercurrents: a good read. 3.5 stars.

This is a fun and enjoyable read. The main characters and secondary characters are believable. I loved her mother!
