Cassie Bellamy thought she'd left Bowie, Texas and Luke Matthews behind for good. She'd been gone for ten years and in that time had built a successful real estate business, had a new fiancé, and had all but forgotten about the Texas bad boy who'd sent her running to Phoenix in the first place.

She wouldn't be going back now, but her daddy needed her at the Double B.

"You are nothing but trouble, lady. But damn if you're not my kind."

Luke and Cassie have a past, ten years ago she ran away letting her greatest fear drive her from the one she gave her love and heart too. Now it’s time to go back to the town that raised her to help her Dad get back on his feet, the one thing she didn’t expect was to bump into her past her first day back. Luke doesn’t seem to be the same boy she left behind but nothing will change her mind and her perfectly controlled

Both the hero,Luke and the heroine Cassie were very likable and realistic characters. Luke had a poor upbringing and it showed in his speech. Cassie, had a black cloud of trouble following her. Her run first, think later attitude got her into more trouble. These two loved each other for years but misunderstandings stood in their way.

The story clipped along at a perfect pace with laughs, tears and excitement along the way. This is the first book in this author's series. I look forward to the next

This was one of the best books I've read in awhile. I started this book when I got off work, knowing I had the next day off. I ended up staying up all night just to finish the book. There was not a good place to stop for the night...I fell in love with the main charactors Cassie Bellamy, and Luke Matthews. I don't want to spoil the book for you, so I can't say everything I loved about this book. I will tell you, I laughed, I smiled, and at times I wanted to throw stuff while I read this book. I just really didn't like the writing style. Some things were just so tedious to read. The book needs to a proof reader - so many errors! I believe I even found one place where Cole's name was used and it should have been Luke's name.

The book was long, which was both good and bad. I like a long book but not when I'm bored with it. The story line was just. . . well. . . let's stick with the program. This whole thing started with the ranch needing help. Yet that lasted like one day, then Cassie a

I really debated about whether or not I was going to post this review on my blog or not. Usually when I know that I’m going to have to give a book a lower rating I only post it on GoodReads and Amazon. I know, that’s kind of a cop out, but that’s just the way I’ve always done it. What made me reconsider when it came to My Kind of Trouble? No other reason than I think this book could have been salvageable and I wanted to give you my reasons why.

See, My Kind of Trouble wasn’t an awful book, it jus

I LOVE THIS SERIES !!! Ok so I am going backwards from the first to the last book that I have had read of the series. I want to express that I find it very hard to find interesting, smart, witty, strong characters, and I love when there is suspense and romance.

From the first book and not that far into it you get hooked and hog tied ( I am not going to spoil it for you because well it would take something away from the magic of this wonderful series.

Something that McGraw does is she starts her ma

I really did enjoy this book. There were a couple of things that held me back from giving it 4 stars though.

Luke and Cassie were really likable characters on their own and when you put them together they are just a big old mess. I did enjoy the back and forth between them but it got to a point where I just wanted to lock them up together and throw away the key so no one would have to watch the train wreck.

Other than every time I thought there was a resolution and the HEA was there I'd look and s

I got this book as a freebie, but I enjoyed it so much that I am going to buy the next book in the series. Cassie and Luke were sweethearts ten years ago. A misunderstanding caused Cassie to leave town and harbor resentment. Luke had no idea why she left all those years ago. Now they have a second chance, but it will not be easy. They will have to fight to get their HEA. I can tell that this series is going to be a lot like some of my other favorite series because we always get a peak at some of ...more

I can't believe I waited so long to read Texas trouble series. I'll be head over hill in love with this series for sure. Cassie wasted ten years of her life over a mistake for the man she loved. Now going home because her daddy needed her and being engaged how much trouble could follow her after ten years? Luke the man who stole her heart ten years was still in love with her could he won her back and find out why she left? The title says it all. Cassie Bellamy knows how to give trouble to Luke Matthews.:D This is the first book I have read by Becky McGraw and boy can she write. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the entire time & holding onto my pants leg during the sex scenes. It was hot & it was intense. Just the way I like my Cowboy books!!! One of my favorite parts of the whole book was "Sure, Officer Melton." LOL That is my last name. This story really hit home w/me for the simple facts of Cassie do ...more

Okay, so I started this series a little backwards. I read the ninth book, "Worth the Trouble", first because I was lucky enough to win a paperback copy. Then I read the first one in her new The Cowboy Way series, "Just Shoot Me", and loved it. Then when the latest book in this series, "Borrowing Trouble" came out, I read it. I am finally starting at the beginning, because I love to read about hot, sexy cowboys and the women that tame them, and nobody does that better than Becky McGraw. This book ...more

Cassie and Luke have been living separate lives for ten years. However, the knowledge that the other is out there never left them. They are quickly thrown in one another's paths when Cassie's old truck breaks down on her way home to visit her sick father. Neither Cassie nor Luke have forgotten the day that started the ten year heartache. They both blame the other for past events. Between the lack of closure and the present day spark between then, everyone in Bowie is aware of their tension.

I really struggled with this book. The characters were childish, particularly Cassie and I found it overly long. A lot of wasted dialogue. The ranch was so short handed for staff so the Sheriff took vacation time to help out but nobody ever seemed to work at the damn ranch. Cassie took off to the lake for some sunbathing quickly followed by the Sheriff, Luke. They argue and she ends up breaking her ankle but that didn't seem to stop her from walking, driving and doing stuff at all. It was just s ...more

My Kind of Trouble is a great read! This is the first book I have read by Becky McGraw, and it will not be the last. I got drawn into the story very quickly. The characters were very interesting and well-developed. The story had some twists and turns that kept it very interesting. It had a good blend of drama, humor, suspense and romance.

It's got strong and sexy cowboys, strong and independent women (also sexy) and a villain that has to be dealt with and added some intensity to the story. I tho

Wonderful New Series

This author is new to me, and I can honestly say that I've thoroughly enjoyed this first book in the Texas Trouble series. I especially enjoyed how the different aspects of the storyline were not drawn out, but that you had resolutions swiftly and done in such a way that you at no time felt the story was being rushed.

You'll find, as I did, yourself emotionally invested in each character...even the secondary characters were given as much depth as the primary ones did. As the
