Kean's Edge is set in a dystopian future where organic material, such as paper and wood, is illegal. Kean is hired by Dr Fischer to find a book for his Fischer's library. All the printed material has been scanned by the CIC and is now in electronic form; however, the CIC controls information and certain information has been restricted. This book being that kind of material.

Darby Krenshaw lives with her husband and two sons in the Midwest. They share their home with a 100 lb French Mastiff named Titus, who thinks he is a lap dog. Darby loves reading, eating her husband’s fabulous cooking and endlessly teasing her kids.
