This was actually surprisingly good.

It was a little cliched and predictable, but the witty back-and-forth between Melissa and Sam were great, as was the dialogue between Rosie and Tommy, which was a great subplot to the story.

All the characters are well-rounded and funny to read. There are no one-dimensional characters in this book.

There are a few spelling mistakes, and a few grammatical errors. They were few and far between, but unfortunately pretty much all of them affected the meaning of sent...more

I took advantage of this when it was a free e-book. I don't often read romantic comedies, so I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting.

The book was light and fun - but it did have its deep elements...especially when we discover why our hero is making the "sacrifice" of becoming Mr. Right.

I hadn't expected two romances to be spotlighted in the story, but they actually worked well together as each relationship helped to cast a light on what was going wrong (or right) with the other.

I enjoyed the f...more

I was really frustrated by this book.

At no point did I get even the remotest impression that Sam was insincere or a womanizer and so every single character in this book's insistence that he was insincere was irritating.

The only time that it was reasonable was at the end when Sam (view spoiler)[re-used his line to Mel on the Mr. Right competition winner (hide spoiler)].

Also Jeff annoyed me, no matter how lucky he was, putting a "friend" or an asset into the position that he did (the mob of women)...more

Melissa´s boss has a great idea for their next PR campaign, to pitch "mr Right" and send the winner on a date with him. Too bad finding mr Right isn´t as easy. Mel finally stumbles upon someone at the water cooler, he´s got the looks, talks the talk and best of all, the boss Jeff already knows him and can twist his arm to participate.
Sam is only there to see his old friend Jeff and beg for a loan to help him in a family crisis, but without him realizing how, he´s signed on as the one and only m...more

The plot is quite weak while the chemistry between main characters is hugh in the predictable way. Sometime I got annoying with detail author made it such a big issue. Overalls, it's worthy for time I spent in airplane. For free kindle, I quite impressed.

This book made me laugh and cry. The scenes were so touching at times I had a tear in my eye. Some of the perdicaments they would get into had me holding my sides from laughing so loud! This is a very fun read.

This was one of the best books I've read in a long time. The author did an incredible job making you laugh and cry. The bantering between the main characters, was exceptional. Great read!

It's more like 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up because although predicable, did make laugh out loud. And because I would read more from this author.

This was listed on Amazon as a romantic comedy. It was not funny. This story was 2 1/2 stars for me but I have given it 3 since it wasn't bad.
Michelle
This was a free kindle book. I was looking for a light and fluffy romance, but this book just annoyed me. It was way too predictible and cheesy.
