This was actually surprisingly good.
It was a little cliched and predictable, but the witty back-and-forth between Melissa and Sam were great, as was the dialogue between Rosie and Tommy, which was a great subplot to the story.
All the characters are well-rounded and funny to read. There are no one-dimensional characters in this book.

I took advantage of this when it was a free e-book. I don't often read romantic comedies, so I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting.
The book was light and fun - but it did have its deep elements...especially when we discover why our hero is making the "sacrifice" of becoming Mr. Right.

I was really frustrated by this book.
At no point did I get even the remotest impression that Sam was insincere or a womanizer and so every single character in this book's insistence that he was insincere was irritating.
The only time that it was reasonable was at the end when Sam (view spoiler).
Also Jeff annoyed me, no matter how lucky he was, putting a "friend" or an asset into the position that he did (the mob of women)...more

Melissa´s boss has a great idea for their next PR campaign, to pitch "mr Right" and send the winner on a date with him. Too bad finding mr Right isn´t as easy. Mel finally stumbles upon someone at the water cooler, he´s got the looks, talks the talk and best of all, the boss Jeff already knows him and can twist his arm to participate.
Sam is only there to see his old friend Jeff and beg for a loan to help him in a family crisis, but without him realizing how, he´s signed on as the one and only m...more
