After a long time i have come across such a book which has truly captured my attention. This is the story of an orphan who is brought up by his grandfather, a retired military man (Colonel). It is about their relationship. In his childhood the protagonist forms an attacking almost rebellious attitude towards the adults and seems to mock the acts of adults. An eloquently and beautifully written novel by author I R Shankar. An adolescent mind is his debutant novel and has been well received. It is a semi autobiographical novel which tells the story of a young Indian boy who loathes adults and their way of life. He forms rebellious almost an attacking attitude towards adults.
