If you haven’t read WANT by Ann Mayburn yet, then I highly suggest you read that before CHERISH. In WANT you will learn how Cody and Sam got together in the first place and I don’t think this story will really resonate with you unless you read WANT first.
With CHERISH, Ann Mayburn brings readers another short but sweet story for Cody and Sam. After recently getting married, Sam and Cody are now on their honeymoon and things heat up pretty quickly. I love these two togeth...more

A really nice follow up to Want from the 1 Night Stand series. Definitely will want to read these in order.
Spoiler! If you haven't read Want, do not continue reading.
This story is a short piece that is the beginning of Cody and Sam's honeymoon. If you've read Want, then you know at that the end Cody proposes to Sam in Italy after they have been together for 18 months and are no business as well as life partners.

Cherish, the second in the series, follows Sam and Cody on their honeymoon to a beautiful destination that they have created themselves. Their love grows exponentially every day emotionally as they look toward the future together. With the love and support of theirs families, Sam and Cody's marriage takes strong root and preparing to bloom.

Reviewed by Renee: It's hard to pack a lot into a 12-page read, but Ann Mayburn managed here. Cody and Sam are newlyweds on the first day of their honeymoon. Their love is reflected well, and their attraction is on fire! From the drive through the mountains to the first few hours at the cabin, Ann did a good job packing some relationship history in with the thrill of honeymoon sex. A couple of lines were a little cheesy, but overall a good short read.

This sequel to "Want" is as hot as the first volume, and almost pure sex. What makes it even better for me than the first volume was the fact that Cody and Sam, two years later, truly love each other. It made their connection more vibrant, and what they do together more meaningful for me. They were friends before they discover they’re hot for each other, and that friendship has now deepened into love and mutual respect. Now they are on their honeymoon and things get hotter than ever before.

The second in the series, it is just as hot as the first. We are taken two years later in Cody and Sam’s relationship, their honeymoon to be exact. Their love is just as strong and their appetite for each is even stronger, well maybe because abstaining for two weeks has made them really hot for each other! The story is short, but it sure takes us into all we need to know about their life up to this point. I can’t wait to read what their next step will be…

Ann is Queen of the Castle to her wonderful husband and three sons in the mountains of West Virginia. In her past lives she's been an Import Broker, a Communications Specialist, a US Navy Civilian Contractor, a Bartender/Waitress, and an actor at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. She also spent a summer touring with the Grateful Dead(though she will deny to her children that it ever happened).
