This was a short read that picked up where we left off on Easter Holiday, another book by Dixon, so we meet up with some of the same characters we had been introduced to before. There was laughter, family, good friends and a wedding to plan and look forward to. There was also some unexpected romance, mixed signals and a happily ever after that didn’t look like it would happen.

Review:

"New Bay Wedding" by Nell Dixon was a wonderful read. We find in this novella read we find that Emma's brother, Noah has plans to 'set up his sister with his someone'....with Noah's match making skills would he pick out the right male for his sister? Who would be right for his sister Emma? With Emma's brother wedding is coming up and her being the maid of honor... she would...more

This one has a romantic cover of course to go with the wedding theme, the happy couple and could that be a charming rustic church in the background? So Emma has "match maked" her brother Noah, now in this novella he decides it's his turn to set up his younger sister with a suitable male. The question is who is the right one for Emma, and will Noah's match making skills pick out the right male for his sister.
This one is again a romantic novella, the type that has you Oooing and Aaaing...more

I like this story the best of this author's....so far. In New Bay Wedding, Emma's brother, Noah, is getting married and she is the maid of honor, forcing her to interact with her brother's long-time friend. I thought the characters were more developed in this story and there was more of a plot to it. It was still short, and I would have liked a little more, but it was satisfying. I really appreciate the author not using language in some places where she could have--she used alternate words. Cute...more

This is a lovely short story and IMHO would've even been better if it had been longer and filled in places. The characters are easy to relate to, but again, the special something was missing because of the story's length.

Emma's brother Noah is getting married to Posy, and Emma is the bridesmaid. Noah's best friend Ian is going to be best man - unfortunately he can be a bit clumsy around Emma. So is it fair of Emma to worry that he might muck up the wedding?

Great little story, if you're looking f...more
