Angel / YA rules!/
it's a fun read. a handsome doctor, a beautiful baker. good combination, right?

it's a story of how they saw each other when they were in high school but the time wasn't right for them and because of appendicitis they met again.

it's a love story that warms the heart. feel good all the way.

I picked this book up when it was free and quickly forgot I had it. After reading a slew of Christmas books this holiday season, I was looking for a cute read to cleanse my proverbial palate, but this book ended up leaving me with a bit of a "sour taste in my mouth". The book was good, but only up to a point. The focus is more on the people than on the bakery side of the heroine's life, in fact it seemed as though the bakery was thrown in as an afterthought. For it to be *spoiler alert* such a l...more

This book could've been good. (view spoiler)[My main problem was really the two protagonists. Kara, who seemed independent at first, turned out to be weak and made her infatuation lead her. Mind you, there's nothing wrong with being in love, but please use your head too. As for Jason, who is this "hot ER doctor" who actually was a pediatrician, he was worse. Sure, he's a doctor, but he used too much of "heart" and less "head." Here we are, lessons in being in love with Maria. (hide spoiler)]

an easy to read, hard to put down story.

"Refreshing Read". Edible Delectables is the very best read i have had out of the last 500 books I've read. this is fun, fast paced, very warming and sexy, believable at every turn. this is almost impossible to put down. read this for enjoyment, read it because you like LOVE stories. this is a very refreshing story with real characters doing things that anyone could do when crazy in love. i do hope Amy writes rights more, i'll be waiting with cash in hand

The usual modern romance, but quite well written. Plot was decent and definitely a fun summertime read. I thought there were actually too many sex scenes, but probably just because I'm used to ZERO and this book had around five (?? I wasn't counting). I'm really surprised to see this book averages OVER 4 stars on Goodreads...what? I am guessing that this book really hits the mark well for what it is, and that is the main source of enthusiasm.

I adore both jason and kara... i didn't expect edible delectables to be sooo good, no 3rd party which is pretty exhausting when it comes to romance books, no major drama and lots and lots of funny moments i love eva lols with the hospital bathroom scene.. all in all this book is like a very good desert sweet and perfect.

So, if one of the girls from the Babysitter's Club grew up, started a bakery, and came down with appendicitis, she could be the inspiration for Kara in this housewife porn romance. This is the hostess ding dong of romance literature - kind of sweet and fluffy, but not very interesting.

This started off really well but lost me in the last 15%. They get their HEA but it sort of dragged on. Once their issues are resolved we then stay with them for the remaining chapters only to watch what they've decided to do actually happen. And to be a fly on the wall for them to discuss having children - it wasn't like it was a conflict between them, it was basically "I think you should stop taking the pill" "You want to try to have a kid?" "I don't want to prevent it, if it happens then it h...more

A charming novel. A tad uneven, but the well-written parts more than made up for a few bumps in the road. I would love to see a sequel of this book, due to the excellent character development & the awesome sex scenes :)

This book took me a few days to read. Normally i can breeze through a book with no problems, but on this one i got stuck a few times. It's a great book once you get into the story, but for me, getting into the story took a few starts.

Edible Delectables was an easy read. I had to give 2.stars because I got to the point wherr i judt kept thinking is this the end. All the love scenes just drug out the story.

I look at this way it was free.

I adore that book,I laughed so loud sometimes that I startled the cat! Witty dialog, engaging and reliable characters. I look forward to seeing more from this author.

I was entertained, but it wasn't the best. I mean who over the age of 21 actually finds it appropriate to ask a friend whether they 69nd their boyfriend yet--or maybe thats just me.
Nikki
I adored this book! I honestly could not put it down. Great flow, kept me wanting for more and it was a believable story line. Hope there are more stories to come :)

It is what it is - a formula romance novel. I had thought there would be more of a back story dealing with foodie things from the title. Abandoned.

Two-haiku review:

Bakery owner
Gets appendicitis, meets
Hot ER doctor

Way too much telling
Enough errors to annoy
I skimmed great big chunks

This book was an enjoyable summer read that I finished in a day. If you like romance and a few sexy scenes I recommend this book for you.
Martha
This was a cute book. I liked Jason and Kara's story. I loved Eva and Jamie - they were a hoot! The only thing I didn't like was the book just ended. I could have used maybe 1-2 more pages but all in all was a cute book.
Tami Black

Jill Fox
Really liked this book, didn't have to think to hard. Also nice ending.
Mary
An awful book. I couldn't finish it. No character development, no interesting situations, simply nothing worth reading.

Marie Gallo
An enjoyable summer romance novel - a quick read and well worth reading!
Sierra
An ordinary story of ordinary people falling in love. A nice, comfortable read.
Danak
this was a cute story, but I didn't really connect with any of it. I would still recommend it as a good and fun book to read, just not at the top of my list.
Julianna
I actually really liked it, it was really sweat.
