I am My Own Betrayal
by
Guillaume Morissette (Goodreads Author)
I Am My Own Betrayal is a bizarrely comic, profoundly modern, honest, sad, surprising collection of stories and poems. this book is an effin 'good read'
highly recommended
i felt like i identified with the speaker’s emotions & was able to relate to situations
also felt like i enjoyed it because of the rationality that seems to permeate his writing. i prize rationality maybe. in this book things are described concretely and when adjectives like ‘interesting’ or ‘good’ is used the characters always define what they mean exactly when using that/their justification for the use of these adjectives. seems interesting...more

Dear Guillaume,
I just finished your book. I enjoyed reading it. The last two lines are very good. I read the poems to Carolyn over skype. I am glad you are working on a novel. I just put your book on my bookshelf in the section that has short stories, as opposed to the section that has poetry.
Love,
Jackson
