Meg so loves a mystery that her whole family believes she finds them even when they are not there. That is, until a strange man in an overcoat with a parcel under his arm keeps appearing in her Jersey shore hometown. She has seen him before, but can’t quite place him. When the parcel under his arm disappears, she is sure he has lost it and sets about to find it for him…if only he would let her. This was a cute little juvenile/middle grade mystery, I think if you are a fan of Nancy Drew or Flavia or even Harriet the Spy you’ll enjoy this one. Meg and her sisters set out to solve a mystery happening at the Hotel her parents run. I loved when the bad guys turned the tables on the girls and they got in trouble with their parents and she blamed her mom for reading Sherlock Holmes to her when she was younger!
