The lovely and emotional roller coaster ride story of Lori Pomay. Whilst undergoing tests for genetic testing prior to having IVF Lori establishes that the man she has grown up with as her father is not fact her father. This is the journey of that discovery. Coming to terms with the news, and the path Lori takes as she sets upon trail of establishing her biological identity.

I loved the modern research aspect of the story line, which is based loosely on true events. I loved the mix of medical dat More...

The last thing someone wants to hear is that the father they grew up with is not their biological father, but this is the case for Lori. After this married woman finds out that her father cannot be hers, she goes on a wild search for her biological father, and along the way finding interesting characters.

When I was first asked to participate in the blog tour, I absolutely had to ask for this book. It went into a world of the sexual revolutions of the 1960's and the double standard that takes pla More...

In the age of Facebook (note the FB icons-type "people" on the cover), this mystery of paternity takes us on a wild ride through the emotional rollercoaster of a woman trying to have a baby and facing coming to terms with her "life's story" not quite being what she thought. Her mother is dead and her father isn't who she thought he was. Not every girl would want to learn quite so much about her mother's "walk on the wildside" after she's passed. But, as a reader, it's quite an interesting voyage More...
