A dragon has been busting in on Jack and eating the lunch Jack cooks for his family. Annoying, but not life-threatening. For this, Jack cuts the dragon down with a sword.

As well as gold and jewels, the dragon's mountain of treasure includes a beautiful girl for Jack to marry. Jack and his brothers have names and identities. The girl is just a nameless object to be won.

Not the messages I want my children growing up.
