A Shane story and none too interesting. Granted, it would only be interesting to me if he died. The permanent kind of death. But really, folks... he buys a car. The end. Is it just me or was this story included in one of the books?
Anyway, as far as I can tell Shane's purpose is to:
1. cockblock Myrnin
2. play the damsel and tease me with the possibility of his demise
3. try (and fail) to play the tragic hero
4. get everyone in trouble with his rage issues
5. raise my ire

I liked this one mostly because Shane showed who he really can be. A nice guy fighting the right battles and landing alive.
It was never so easy to buy a car, but I liked the fact it was a necessity for them because Claire would need the safety and he took the time to think of someone else safety.

Nothing especially interesting to read here, probably only recommendable to die hard fan. It's just a short story about Shane buying a car and as usual the inevitable problems that come with breathing in Morganville.
Shane...I just...he is PROBABLY my favorite out of Michael, Eve and him...and getting to read more about him just makes me SO freaking happy.
This was a sweet short story, about Shane getting a car. Of course we saw some Claire & Shane and Michael & Eve.
the ending was unexpected, but i liked it. and the little tie-in with Shane's school past was sweet.
Actually read in 2012, but I don't want it to count towards my Goodreads Reading Challenge.
Nice little short centered about Shane. I like that he's trying to be a better person for Claire
Such a Shane thing to do in this one. Fit his personality perfect.

This one about a car. Interesting twist on the term "pimped out" and/or "tricked out." depending on which school of car jargon you ascribe.
These extras give added depth to the characters we usually see only through Claire's eyes.
