This was a decent story. I enjoyed 95% of it. It was really short, and Hampton really packed a LOT of info into a small volume of words. I liked the idea for the story. I think that it would have been much better if the characters were a bit more developed; some phase of self discovery and then realization as to how they felt, then possibly some angst build-up (it was hinted at in the story) before the resolution.
