3.5 giddy-up stars for this snappy little tale of a vampire believing cigarette smoking, British girl that takes a time traveling tube right out of London 2012 into Colorado 1888 in search of Jack the Ripper.
Sammy is now a pistol-shooting Cowgirl that has hooked up with a dude called “The Preacher” and his posse of Harry the Hunk, Zoe and Louise. The group is hired to search out vampires by another Brit, the very sexy and handsome, Spencer Drake.

Gotta love Tim and his paranormal stories. They set themselves apart of the mainstream books about vampires and all things that go bump in the night. His ideas are like none other. That is why I will continue to follow him as an author. His latest book “Cowgirls and Vampires” is a great story involving action, adventure, romance and mystery. Not to mention the ending, TIM! How can you leave us like that? We’ll talk about that later. Back to the story. The descrip...more

Big thank you to Tim O ' Rourke for this free read via Amazon. I have to say I was most impressed with the way in which this story was put forth.

A time travel concept with - cowgirls, gunslingers - vampires and even Jack The Ripper . What a unique and interesting storyline, filled with sass, blood, guts, hootin tootin cowboys and cowgirls and vampires and more. Its action packed filled to the brim with goodness.

Characters that you will easily enjoy, a captivating and unique storyline that will...more

I thought Tim O'Rourke had me with the Keira Hudson series. I thought the same again when I read 'Moonlight', from his Moon Trilogy, and then in his latest series, Sydney Hart, in the novel 'Witch'. 'Vampire Seeker' is no exception to the rule. It's wacky, adventurous, action-packed, fun and gory. From a vampire seeker in London, 2012, to a cowgirl in the Wild West in 1888, Samantha Carter is a brilliant heroine.

'Vampire Seeker' begins with Samantha following a Jack the Ripper copy-cat killer in...more

I'd give it 15 stars if I could...
Ok, can I say WOW!!? This book kept me intrigued from the first few pages until the last few words I couldn't read fast enough and every time I had to put the book down, I wanted to die, specially since these days I had tons of things to do and therefore, less time to read. Sammy is completely lovable, the gang of her "friends" is unpredictable and completely endearing. Zoe is a sweet teen who can be as fierce as a wolf while Louise is a Tigress. The preacher i...more

Samantha Carter wakes up lying in the dirt, looking up at a clear blue sky, dressed as a cowgirl but most importantly of all no idea how she got there!! One minute she was following a suspected vampire/murderer across Whitechapel in London and then her life has been turned on it head!!
Samantha soon meets fellow vampire hunters The Preacher, Harry, Louise and Zoe and joins their crew who are hired by fellow Englishman Spencer Drake. He wants them to accompany him by steam train into the deadly v...more

RATING: 5 UBER SMEXI HARRY STARS - YEHHHAAAA!!

Tim O’Rourke has ventured into the adult genre with a spectacular entrance. Cowgirls & Vampires is a whole lot of brain gymnastics and fun, not to mention some awesome new characters for us to get to know and enjoy. All I am going to say is chapter 23!!!! I do blush!

The Preacher, is actor Sam Elliott in my mind . Sam instantly came to mind. The Preacher is going to win a few hearts, there is something most attractive about a man with a white han...more

Well where do I start...

I was, I suppose like others who follow Tim's work with bated breath, a tad worried if I would allow myself to get on with another bunch of characters after I fell in love with the Kiera Husdon series, which is still very much ongoing, however after reading this first book of a new series my worries were unfounded!

Tim has smashed his entrance into the adult genre with a pure fire winner with Cowgirls & Vampires. Fast paced action, characters that spark off each other...more

This is the first book by Tim O'Rourke that I've read. Jumping on the band wagon late has its advantages though. Mainly, I get to go back and see what I've been missing if I run into an author that sparks my interest. I'm happy to say that I can now add O'Rourke to that list.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from Vampire Seeker and even if I had a preconceived notion, I wouldn't have come close.

This book was like no other Vampire book that I've read, at least not that I remember. It was an inte...more

Tim O'Rourke has taken his 1st trip out of YA & straight into Hott Damn!! What an incredible adventure!!

I will admit I was a little nervous going into this. After following Kiera & crew from the Kiera Hudson series for so long now (8 books so far!!) I wasn't sure how I would feel about getting involved with a new group of characters. As it turns out I feel GREAT! Sammy is one bad-ass cowgirl & her friends are........... well their something else!! And Harry, oh Harry *sigh* I feel as...more

In his newest series, O’Rourke takes on cowgirls and cowboys, but adds a deadly twist: vampires and weres walk among them. But, what the synopsis doesn’t tell you is that not only are there vampires and werewolves, but also many intriguing characters, time travel, and, oh yes, some memory loss. This makes for an epic read as Samantha Carter attempts to hunt down a killer… the man she believes might be Jack the Ripper. Is it possible he was a vampire? You’ll have to read to find out…

Now, readers...more

Tim O'Rourke enters the adult paranormal realm with a new story that captures the imagination with time travel, suspense, smexy romance, and a new brand of vampire called the Vrykolakas. Since I enjoyed Kiera Hudsons series so much, I figured there would be a few surprises along the way with this new installment as well. I wasn’t wrong. The surprise came with the ending and I’m already screaming for the next book.

This is a hard book to rate as I am a big fan of the Kiera Hudson series so this is a big departure from that series. With a title like Cowgirls and Vampires I conjured up a scenario of the wild west and maybe a tavern with lots of vampires and cowgirls save the day but I was not even close. We start off with Samantha following a serial killer down in London and he escapes onto a train with the police in pursuit. Samantha races after him and starts searching the carriages as she thinks he is a v...more

Ok - I really liked this book. Now, I am not a big fan of vampires being super bad but this was done so well. The chemistry between Harry and Sammy was great. Even though I think the tension was good between them, it could use a little bit of development. Also, there were a lot of surprises in this book but I wish it were a bit longer. I really can't wait to read the next one.

There is a thin line between reality and fantasy. What would you do if you found yourself within the line? Where you're not sure what is real anymore, questioning everything and everyone, especially yourself - your very own mind. You wonder then what is left. Faith?...but in what exactly?

Samantha Carter, driven by the unfathomable need to uncover the truth, finds herself trapped in a peculiar situation. She must find the way out.

Couldn't finish this. It wasn't bad, but I despair of finding a vampire novel that excites me in the same way Interview with a Vampire or Fevre Dream did 25 years ago. Only Anno Dracula has come close. I keep trying to rekindle my adolescent love for the genre, but it's not working.

A very enjoyable read. I didn't think I was going to like it but I did. I was a little thrown at the beginning because of the title I started reading with a Texas accent in my mind and then was like, London? Darn, I have to change the accent. :)

This was a rather different approach to the usual vampire stories. It had a few odd moments and a couple of typos, but overall, it was readable and the characters were engaging. Worth the time to read.

Another great book by Tim O'Rourke! Anxious to find out what happened to Samantha Carter. Always leaving his readers wanting more, Tim O'Rourke couldn't have written a better mystery for us to fall into. (Well he has with the Kiera Hudson Series but you get my point *winks*) To go from 2012 and travel back to 1888, hunting vampires, meeting a preacher and his gang of vampire hunters, has hot sex with one of them, and still come back to present time still not sure of what is really going on withi...more

First of all, I won this book last month in a goodreads' giveaway. Thanks so much Tim, I really loved it.
Second, I don't speak english and I have to write this review in english. I'll try to do the best...

Samantha Carter is a normal human who gets involved in a vampire's story. She meets two cowgirls (Louise and Zoe), a Preacher and a cowboy, Harry. The problem is that she gets in a train and then wakes up in 1888!

I really loved this book. And I want the continuation now!!
