Great prequel to No Remorse by MaryLynn Bast. Amber will soon discover the metamorphosis of her inner wolf. The scene was deep and well described, I loved! The main plot was also something really grapping. I never thought I would read about this subject when I picked it up for the blog tour! I was greatly surprise, because I had some expectations, (since I read One Bite to Passion by the same author) and I wasn't disappointed, even if I never saw this one coming. The plot is more about saving th...more

A Justified Kill is set as a “prequel” to No Remorse (which is the first book in the Heart of a Wolf series). {Side note: You don’t HAVE to read one to understand the other, although they are great books and I would say if you read one you should read the other. A Justified Kill is a great story outside of the series, but is a great addition to it.}
MaryLynn has done it again. A Justified Kill gives readers a look into Amber's past and helps understand more of the why’s about her. Struggling wit...more

Did you read No Remorse? Whether you did or not, you'll be able to enjoy this novella which explains a segment of Amber's life. A Justified Kill takes the reader to the first human kill of Amber. Marylynn Bast gives you a deeper look into Amber's past.

Though Amber is a werewolf, she does not want to kill innocent humans. She is years behind on her change, and worries if she will hurt someone. Surprisingly, the person she targets for her first kill more than has it coming.

You don't have to have r...more

A delicious little background story for "No Remorse" by the same author. The best thing about this, is that you dont HAVE to read it first to move onto "Remorse", read it before..or after.. OR BOTH!

Would recommend this and "No Remorse" to anyone who enjoys the PNR/shifter genre and is looking for a story that will hold your attention to the very last page.

Looking forward to reading the next 3 books i have by MaryLynn Bast and will of course post reviews on each once im done!!

GO!! READ!!!

I really enjoyed this short read. It is the first thing I have read by Marylynn Bast and I know have her two other books on the top of my TBR list. This story is actually a preqel to No Remorse. I was concerned I would be missing too much since I have not read the book, but this is definitely a complete story in and of itself. I have a feeling having this bit of background will make No Remorse even more enjoyable for me. For the record, I felt it was a justified kill. Not sure what that says abo...more
