I first came across this as an anime and needed the rest of the story after I watched it. I was a teenager and I always loved the whole star crossed lovers, forbidden love thing. It never really bothered me that they were brother and sister. I think I was at a time of my life where I was obsessed with stories with similar plots. I remember reading many like it, whether on a website like fictionpress, fanfiction, or actual manga.

Thought I might have a bit of trouble getting back into this series after not having read it in so long, and it's true that, with so much plot, it's relatively hard to keep everything straight. However, this volume has Setsuna and co. off to rescue Zaphikel, and Setsuna in particular focuses on taking responsibility for his actions, which is nice for a change.

Really, REALLY too much plot and way too many characters, but I'll probably stick with this series just to enjoy the art and see how thing...more

Die Himmelskapitel der AS Serie sind einfach unglaublich und was Kaori Yuki hier raus haut, ist einfach unglaublich. Vor allem die Geschichte rund um Zaphikel, Sevotharte und Raziel ist nur noch schön und ich hab diesen Doppelband regelrecht verschlungen. Ich kann den nächsten Sammelband kaum erwarten. :D

Kaori Yuki (see also 由貴 香織里) is a female Japanese manga artist best known for her gothic manga such as Earl Cain, its sequel Godchild, and Angel Sanctuary. Yuki debuted in 1987 with Natsufuku no Erii (夏服のエリー) which ran in the manga anthology Bessatsu Hana to Yume published by Hakusensha.
