This is my first review, and appropriately (for me anyway), this is the very first book that I can remember reading.
It was at least 28 years ago, so forgive me if my memory is sketchy... Sod it, who am I kidding, I read this book 28 years ago, my memory is almost non-existent!
All I can really say is that I felt some sort of connection with this book and Pongo (the main character) as I got it out of the library (Harrow Green in East London if anyone is wondering), several times....more
