In my library, this book was shelved in the children's room, but I think it should be YA. I guessed correctly the solution to about half of these 40 mini-mysteries. I enjoyed the challenge, but some of these required knowledge the author assumed readers would have, that I didn't, in order to solve them. The author is Canadian, so many of them are set in Canada, which I enjoyed. Of course, I'm going to read the rest of the books in the series (there are at least 2 more in my library system). I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. I enjoyed this book! It kept me guessing, and reguessing. You really had to use your brain to see the clues and understand what tips the ending off. This is great for anyone who lkes to read short stories and figure out things. If you don't have much time to read, you won't lose reading this one. You can read as many or as little as you want!
