Follow Pi-Shu (ancient Chinese name for "brave") as he grows to be a young panda under his mothers care. Realistic illustrations draw the reader in as Pi-Shu and his mother must leave there mountain home after humans begin to destroy their habitat. Panda facts are included in the back of the book along with the contact information for the World Wildlife Fund for readers who want to help conserve and protect the giant panda.
