Castles in the Sand by Janet Dailey 3***
Not a bad story but hard to start liking our hero. Nice ending, but hard at times to keep reading to get there. My comment while in the middle of reading the story: Very strange. We're suppose to believe in a hero who won't talk to his dying father whom he hasn't seen in 12+ years but came back to "not" see him. Odd, very odd.

The Marrying Kind by Debbie Macomber

Hasten Down the Wind by Rebecca Brandewyne

Forbidden Affections by Jo Beverly

4 enjoyable short stories. One about the old west, two about young love and finding each other again, and a historical romance with an interesting twist. I enjoyed reading each of these stories.
