A very good reference work along the lines of old fashioned 'Floras', hand drawn illustrations, dissection details etc... Not really a book to read as such, but worthy of a place on any gardeners, naturalist or botanists bookshelf. Compliments Heywood's 'flowering Plant families...' very well.
