There are lots of issues that I agree and disagree in this book. First of all, I have to mention that I am Turkish and I am no sure if the Tengri religion is related to Christ because somewhere in the book, he mentions that Tengri is a mountain in Asia; that was considered a mother goddess. Tengri was the sun, which the Ancient Turkic people adored. The Ancient Turks were a matriarch type of society until they were forced to become something else. Just finished the book.
Thank God I am one of those who will finish a book no matter what; or I would have put the book down in the middle.
Mr. Matlock takes you and looses you all over the place:
Origin of humanity.
Geography.
Religions.
Spirituality.
Unfortunately I do not agree with most of what he writes.
I picked up the book because I am Turkish and interested in all things involving Turks and the old Turkic Nation. I have read a lot on the subject and what Mr. Matlock want you to believe makes no
