This is a guide to wildflowers of the Great Lakes Bioregions. It is wonderful because if has big clear color photos that show leaves as well as flowers. I love that it is arranged by time. The earliest spring bloomers first progressing through summer and fall. Since winter is very clear cut here, this makes a lot of sense and is a useful book. It's too big to haul around in the field all the time, but with the cheap digital camera, clear pix of plants can come home. Anyway, if you are looking to ...more
