Another excellent book, it seves as a great reminder of how factual books don't need to be dry and boring. Full of detailed medical photographs and interesting facts, The Heart explains the circulatory system in clear simple language. Yet at it's core it serves to heighten the awe in which we view our miraculous bodies.
The accompanying book to the lungs book. Stellar images! Detailed text with loads of details on the circulatory system.
this would have been a good book to have in the cardiologist's office, and to see before heart surgery.
