I’m bummed. I’ve read a few of Susan Mallery’s book and absolutely loved them. So much so that I always anticipate picking up another one of her books whenever I can. This is my first category romance by her. It is an older book, a couple years old, but since it’s a Mallery, I anticipated a good read. That didn’t happen, not by a long shot. I just didn’t care for this book all that much. Surprised the hell out of me.

Jack must spend a month in a mansion to carry out his deceased friends wish. Said friend's little sister arrives and sets out to make Jack pay for turning his back on her in college. It was an ok book. To much background on rocket science nerds. Could've covered some more background on the main characters. I'm more familiar with Susan Mallery's current books and can say that they've definitely improved.

This book was really good. I'm glad i picked it up. Jack and Meri were a fun couple to read about. Wished I had realized before that it was part of a series. The story line didn't rely on the previous books to be understood. I just think the stories of the other couples would have been fun to read as well.

It's unfair that I always can't read any book in its order!! By finishing the book, which was lovely by the way, all I was left with was a huge gap! There are supposed to be six stories or five before this one...

not the best book I've ever read. nothing like saying 'you're not a cheatin' whore unless you actually love the guy...otherwise it doesn't count' yikes! couldn't make myself finish. the worst one of the series.

Read it to finish it and find out what happens, but some of it was immature. The premise was cute, but lacking a bit.

Fairly average. I did like her bubbly mega genius personality. Revenge plot just so so. I didn't really connect with the story.

#6 out of 6 in the Millionaire of the Month series by various authors. I give the series as a whole 5 stars. The overall story was interesting to me. Some parts in each book made me cry. Very sweet. Good characterization.
