This book is a must read to children and by children and discussed. The author paid attention to the sensitivities of all that Olivia was dealing with. Our children are struggling with accepting who they are. This book deals with the fear of being the new kid on the block, in a new school, being shy and wanting friends. The language was simple and moving, the illustrations vivid. I loved that Olivia got a little "bite" as she became friends with Todd. Looking forward to reading the next book by ...more
