Katrina Cole
The author takes the traditional story of the Brother's Gruff and adds an environmental awareness element. The storyline is a bit abrupt but the illustrations are engaging and the author adds in extra facts about taking care of the ocean and wildlife. The Lorax is still my favorite choice for this topic.
Stubble, nastiness, dead fish and debris transform foul fishing tactics into a riveting affair in this gloriously disagreeable cautionary tale.
