A fascinating book in which Mary Turner Thompson (the author) describes her marriage to a bigamist, a very clever sociopath who manipulated her over 6 years and fathered 2 of her children. He gradually persuaded Mary to pass over all her assets totalling nearly 200,000, leaving her homeless and penniless.

It is a cautionary tale, which should resonate with single mothers who are successful and financially secure, but who are looking for a permanent soul mate, particularly using dating websites.
