The pictures are black and white and the cover is dated but it is a spectacular example of don't judge a book by its cover. it was the first book my daughter truly appreciated in 6 months. and frankly I learned as much or more from it than she did. The debate that I heard for years growing up about whether a tomato is a fruit or a vegetable was explained. Vegetables had a tax on them and fruit did not. A judge, with typical disregard for reality, declared tomatoes vegetables for tax purposes. ...more
