No English, just simple pictures showing items with the spanish word for that thing (as, picture of a window=ventana) progressing to actions as, a boy opens a door, then boy standing next to a closed door. Makes it easy to progress from single words to sentences. There is enough repetition so that progress is easy. No conjugation, just use the words for actions. Questions at the end of each section so you can see if you remember what was covered.
