Barbara Bretton is my favorite contemporary romance author. Her books are always guaranteed to please when a realistic romance and pick-me-up is needed. Chances Are was no exception, and once again, I am disappointed in myself in letting this book sit on my shelf for years before reading it!

Don't start your Barbara Bretton reading with this book. Maybe not quite a 2 star book since I can't make myself finish it. Too many plots and all of them are annoying me. This is disappointing since normally I really enjoy Bretton's work and will reread at will. This one I bought at a library booksale and decided today I'm donating back without finishing it. The people are likable but something about this just isn't clicking for me. Every time I start reading it it puts me in a bad mood.

Very good book. Maddy and Aidan are so in love but things get messy when Kelly and Seth are pregnant. Claire and Corin wait 10 years to be together.

not a bad story, i liked the characters. was a tad predictable, and the author did get a bit wordy.
