A pretty good contemporary African American romance novel. It's a bit of a thriller in that there are circumstances that put the protagonists in danger. It seems to be part of a series in that the reader is introduced to all of the main character's, Chiara Winters', family and Crystal Hubbard has written two other novels, Suddenly You and Only You about two of Chiara's sisters; I believe the events in those novels take place before the events in this one so this novel is sort of a sequel but foc...more

Chiara is on the run. She suspects that her partner has been killed for the secrets of a missing computer chip, and she might be in the villain's cross hairs. It kind of creep me out because there was a guy that was going after Chiara and John. Chiara got hurt badly and I'm glad that the baby wasn't hurt. John didn't get hurt because he was the one that hurt the guy.
