Unbelievable (Pretty Little Liars #4)
by
Sara Shepard (Goodreads Author)
Behind Rosewood's grand facades, where the air smells like apples and Chanel No. 5 and infinity pools sparkle in landscaped backyards, nothing is as it seems. It was here, back in seventh grade, that five best friends shared everything--Seven jeans, MAC makeup, and their deepest, darkest secrets. For Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily, it was a dream come true . . . until Al

Four girls; Hanna, Spencer, Aria and Emily are still being haunted by an unknown person named "A". In the Pretty Little Liars series, by Sarah Shepard each of these characters have a deep dark secret that they cannot let out. Spencer is rewarded for plagorizing her sisters senior year essay, because she was too lazy to write her own. Emily is sent to a strict aunts farm because of the secret that her mom didn't like. Aria is kept from her forbidden love, as"A" threats to tell...more
Unbelievable by Sara Shepard was the 4th book in the Pretty Little Liars series. It was very awesome at the end!!! I think it is Called Unbelievable for a reason! At the beginning of the book it was just typical Pretty Little Liars. Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily were getting texts from A. But the end - totally changed my whole thought of the book. Spencer and Mona are in the same car and Hanna text Spencer in a panic saying that Mona is A and to get out of the car. They end up both getti...more
The last time I read a Pretty Little Liars novel, I was a Pretty Little Liars – the show – virgin. Now, however, the same cannot be said. While I do believe it is possible to read and watch at the same time, one almost has to observe them as two separate – albeit similar – entities. There are so many differences between the books and the show that time needs to be allotted so one can re-acclimate themselves to whichever they are consuming at any given time. Even the four main characters' persona...more

Sometimes when I would have trouble in school or maybe with sports I would have to stay strong, and keep on going through with it. Just like in the book, everyone has trouble with things, but you just have to keep on going through with it and keep your head up during tough times. In Unbelievable written by Sara Shepard, the four main characters, Spencer, Aria, Hanna, and Emily all face the same problems and are really struggling, just like what happens to people in real life. This problem that h...more

I thought I knew what to expect; Unbelievable is the fourth book in Shepard’s Pretty Little Liars series, following Pretty Little Liars, Flawless, and Perfect. Shepard has a talent for making the series flow together seamlessly. Shepard has talent, period. While each book so far has read like a chapter in the overall series, I keep finding myself satisfied at the end. Don’t mistake me—I still want LOTS more, the who dunnit, the whys, and the hows… But I’...more

***Spoilers for the first three books in the series***
This is definitely a guilty pleasure series. These books are fun to read (they remind me so much of the Gossip Girl books), but perhaps not the most memorable, as I read the first three books of this series a few months ago and found that I was having trouble trying to remember what had happened in the previous books when I picked up this fourth one. I also think I just might have not been in the right mood for this book because it...more

Still not that close and living their own lives, Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily are getting text messages from A. Aria got into a huge fight with her mom, and doesn’t live with her or her brother anymore. She lived with Sean, her boyfriend, and Hanna’s ex-boyfriend for a little bit, but then got kicked out of his house. Aria got kicked out because she was seeing her English teacher, Mr. Fitz. A got a picture of the two of them kissing and sent it to Sean, who reported it to the cops. Now Aria l...more
“Unbelievable” is the fourth book of the Pretty Little Liars series. This is yet another thrilling read that follows the lives of Spencer, Hanna, Emily and Aria who are continuously threatened with anonymously sent information through text message by “A”. The drama persists as they find more clues as to who killed their best friend Ali, and how they each deal with it differently. As well as how they try to maintain their personal lives. Spencer has to try to hide the fact that the award that she...more
Like all of the Pretty Little Liars books, Unbelievable was, well, unbelievable! I especially loved this book because it was kind of like the grand finale of the first four books. It had a amazing suspense and Sara Shepard constantly kept me guessing as to who A was and who Alison's killer was. She has a way, sort of like Poe, of twisting the story so that the main characters are the ones to blame. I also apreciate Sara's diversity and her knowledge of all things fashion. SO much happened in th...more

This book is truly breathtaking. In fact all of the pretty little liars books really capture me. These books are perfect if you are in the mood for a murder mystery and you are tired of having all the boys as the hero and/or villan or victim. These books are perfect for any girl who likes to be under a good book spell. They're quick reads if you love them and even though my busy schedule gives barely any time to read, I still found a way to fit in these great books. These books aren't what you t...more
The book Unbelievable by Sara Shepard is a very excellent book. It is a fabulous read for most people. However, I believe that girls who enjoy realistic fiction and mystery will enjoy this book the most. It includes both mystery and fiction in an action packed way.
I personally enjoyed this book, it was able to keep me at the edge of my seat. It was presented in a suspenseful way, and was extremely unpredictable. However, no matter how much I enjoyed this book it is still very difficult t...more

The answer is obviously not, as there are four more books in the series. When it was first put out this book was supposed to be the last, but the author agreed to put out more due to pressure from the publisher. (Thanks publishers!)
The now not so fab four have all new problems on their hands. Emily has been sent out to the country, only to find that her problems will follow her wherever she goes. Hanna's still in a coma, but will she still remember A's identity when she wakes up? Ar...more

This book is about four teenage girls who used to be friends who start getting threatening messages from a person named “A”. The person knows all their secrets. They used to be best friends with Alison DiLaurentis who was murdered by someone three years age. They don’t know who murdered her. The characters are Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily. Aria is very artistic, Hanna is obsessed with shopping and being popular, Spencer is extremely smart, and Emily is sporty.

I was really excited to start this one after the end of Perfect - I wanted to know what had happened to Hanna. At first I was a little disappointed: it felt like it took ages for the plot to get moving, because it was split between four different points of view and so there were little cliffhangers all the time and it was just very spread out. BUT! It did get moving, and the mystery of A comes to a big climax in Unbelievable.

**Spoilers for the previous 3 books.. spoiler free for Unbelievable**
Unbelievable is the 4th book in the Pretty Little Liars series. Its the most eventful book in the series so far and my addiction to these books just keeps growing stronger.
Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna are still trying to cope with A’s repetitive oncoming threats and dealing with the damage already done. Hanna got the worse end of the stick and is in a coma for coming too close to finding out who A real...more

Once again, "A" is back! In this book, Spencer is starting to believe that she was invloved with Ali's murder, Emily is being sent off to lonley and boring Iowa to her conservative and extreamly strict cousins and Aunt and Uncle, Aria's boyfriend in put in jail all because of her, and poor, glamourous Hanna is now locked up in a hospitle because "she knew too much." Now that "A" has spilled all of their secrets, will they finally have a nice, loving, relaxing life ...more
Hanna is still in a coma in the beginning of the book and when she wakes up she can't remember anything about her accident or remember who "A" is. Her best friend ends up being someone bad and her mom tells her that she got a job in another sate and leaves Hanna the option to move with her, or move in with her dad and his fiance and her evil stepsister.

Spencer, Hanna, Aria, and Emily are back, some in better state than others, and ready to bring down A. When we last left the pristine Rosewood Hanna had just discovered who A was, but she knew too much and A made sure she couldn't say anything by "accidentally" hitting her with a car. Now as Hanna fights for her life, the other three girls have to clean up the mess that A has made.

As some of you may know, I started this book right after finishing Perfect. I know I said that I thought Perfect was my favorite so far of the series, but I have found a new one. Unbelievable certainly lives up to its title. I just can't believe everything that happened in the fourth book. I'm still sitting here stunned, and all I'm going to say on that matter is 'A' is revealed in the fourth boo...more

Unbelievable is an amazing title for this book. The secrets keep coming out about the girls in Rosewood. But the secrets are nothing compared to Hanna being hospitalized after being intentionally hit by an SUV when she figured out who A was. As she starts to recover, she tries to remember what happened to her and who A really is. The girls get another helper as they try to figure out who the killer is and who A is, or if they are the same people. Miss Mona also starts getting text messages, but ...more
Unbelievable is the thrilling fourth instalment of the addictive Pretty Little Liars series.
We saw a lot more of Ali in Unbelievable. Spencer, Aria, Emily and Hanna thought about her a lot so we saw her in flashbacks, memories and dreams. While I was reading these I was just so shocked that she actually had any friends; she was a nasty piece of work! I did like seeing how the girls were similar and how they had changed since Ali’s disappearance, though. Especially Hanna. At times it ...more

Pure Craziness!!! I know my last post left you questioning my sanity a little...well this one might do the same.
As always A leaves a note for us at the end of the book but as you will soon find out we are once again left in the dark.
I KNOW WHO A IS!! And if you follow me on Twitter (luvlovemedew) and thought I was actually going to tell who it is...you're kidding me right? But the identity of A is a shocker. Totally not Melissa which is who I thought it was. BUT read on to f...more

Ohmigod, guess the fuck what?!?!? We finally find out who "A" is in this book! Don't worry, I am not going to spoil it for you. It was actually kind of good! I think I like this book the best because it was a simple, straight forward read. No new characters were introduced, just typical girl issues amongst the people we already know and hate. I like how it wrapped up neatly at the end, the "A" storyline, but it left it open for more books because we actually still don't find ...more
I think it's hard to rate individual books in a series, especially a long one like PLL, but I honestly believe that each book is great and the only one I'd say maybe wasn't a full 5 stars like I rated it, was probaby book 1, just cuz it was a little bit boring.
But this book is amazing! It's actually starting to get a little deeper and the characters are stating to have more depth to them as well.
I like the fact that with each book, I keep trying to figure out which girl...more

Sara Shepard's Pretty Little Liars series just keeps getting better. Unbelievable was the best out of the four I've read so far. It picks up where Perfect left off. Hanna is in a coma because she knew too much. Emily has been shipped off to Iowa to live with her conservative relatives. Aria is now boyfriend-less and homeless. And Spencer isn't sure if she is Ali's murderer. In this installment the plot thickens and the stakes are higher. It becomes chillingly clear that A is no longer playing ga...more
