So, about 3.5 years ago I bought this book mainly because of the price but also because I had never baked bread before. Sure, I remember the thick and dense yeasty stuff that my mother made from scratch when I was a kid. Maybe that's what prevented me from doing this sooner. I'm not much of a cook. I can make some basic stuff and follow a recipe given the opportunity and all the ingredients. Baking is more my thing but just how practical is making cakes and eating them everyday?
