Not only is there a good mystery in this book, there are also great history facts in both baseball and what was happening when the story took place. There are only 5 books in the series and I wished that he wrote more. I know that his main character Mickey Rawlings cannot play baseball for ever as the mysteries are also historicals; but he could have moved him up as a coach or some other job in a baseball team's organization.
