Watson was one of the primary references I used in preaching through the Lord's Prayer. Very useful, pastoral and devotional. Highly recommended.

This is a fine work by Watson. So many gems of wisdom and insight that are still practical today. A truly great exposition of the Lord's Prayer.

Note: I only read the sections pertaining to the second half of the Lord's Prayer.

Thomas Watson is really helpful, especially in his lengthy personal application sections. Like most of the Puritans, he can sometimes drift into navel gazing, but in general this is a help corrective.
