Awesome book about the early keyboard instruments from 14th to 19th centuries. I used it for my essay about Harpsichord and Clavichord study. It's definitely a good reference book worth reading and keeping. Easy to read even for people like me without much music background.
For those who just begin to learn these instruments, it's a useful book to start with!! You will know how these instruments work, how the mechanism affects music performance, and the history.

love this book, re-reading it mainly as a reference book from time to time.
Recommended for any harpsichordist or person interested in keyboard history and Early Music.
