Recommends it for: Eaters of fire everywhere
Shelves: foodbooks, cookbooks
Jennifer Trainer Thompson is a true fire-eater, and the creator of one of my favorite bottled sauces, the perfectly named Jump Up and Kiss Me. This book is both an excellent collection of hot-sauce recipes and a field guide to some of the best prepared sauces available. It also contains many recipes that make excellent use of hot sauces, home-made or otherwise. Whether you like a little chili pepper or a whole lot, this is a must have.

Meh. Not terrible, but better as a quick resource on various chiles and hot sauces rathern than a great cookbook.
