3.5 stars. Book three in one of my favorite comic strips growing up as a kid. Garfield vs Odie, Nermal, Jim, exercise and scales. It didn't get better than this until The Farside came along.

I loved Garfield when I was in middle school. I had several of these collections, and I read them all again and again.

I'm giving three stars based on the way I felt about the book when I read it the first time (or should I say the first 10 to 15 times?). Now I can't imagine reading any one of these books one time.

I can barely believe how many of these collections exist.

This third installment of "Garfield" features the introduction of Nermal, the introduction of Jon's family ("Eat! Eat! Eat!"), Garfield's National Fat Week, and the more "truthful" side of Irma. Lyman also appears, but he becomes less prevalent as the days go by. A certain must-read for all Garfield fans.

Garfield is my favorite fat cat -- We even share lasagna as a favorite food, think diets are Die with a t at the end, hate Mondays and Mornings - Garfield got me through my struggles with learning to read as a kid and I still read him everyday. For a time I even had a female Garfield share my life.

some early Garfield...before the jokes got too cliche.

I couldn't get enough of Garfield in 4th/5th grade.

So far, it's the funniest one I've read.
Curtiss
A collection Garfield the cat comics.
Iggy Igwell
Garfield hates Mondays.
Erin
Garfield is always a fun, easy comic where you can leave your brain at the door but enjoy plenty of snickering at the felines' bizarre and selfish antics. A cute book that's fun to look through.
