Recommends it for: beginner dieters

This would be a decent book for someone who has never dieted nor done any of their own research on tips/tricks that can help in the journey towards losing weight...or for someone who doesn't have a lick of common sense.

But, for someone who has a pretty good handle on what to do, it's repetitive (literally...she mentions several tips multiple times in the book, just rearranges the words and puts it in a new category)and not very innovative or creative in ideas or implementation.
