If you want to make the best breads and pastries the way they are made in the best bakeries in Paris, then this book is for you. I made the Pain au Raisins from my favorite Boulangerie on Ile St Louis, and they came out perfectly.

Linda has a masterful way of combining the local color with easy-to-follow recipes. Make no mistake, these recipes are for serious foodies, not dumbed-down at all. But the effort is well worth it.

Mille Merci, Madame Dannenberg!

Have you ever noticed that cookbooks are more for reading than actually using, as in whipping up one of those scrumptious dishes? The recipes are great, immersing oneself in the French culture is the best part.
