This novel is a little darker than her first novel, if you can believe it. It still holds the glamour of the first book but there is more of a storyline with the new generation vixens.

Read it on the bus to NYC. A good fiction book for a bus or plane ride or an afternoon by the pool. Sometimes you just want a nice easy read with sex, intrigue, a stupid criminal, money hungry people cheating on other people with low morals, all set in California! Yeah Jackie!

I just LOVE Jackie Collins writing style! She is an EASY read & trashy & FUN! I enjoy picking up one of her books after I finish a "dark" or "heavy" read.

This is a trash novel. The plot is as thin as some actresses; the characters are cardboard cutouts. But it's the kind of trash novel that I take guilty pleasure in devouring at the beach.

A lot of people didn't rate this book well. It wasn't a great work of literature, but it's Jackie Collins. Jackie Collins writes good Jackie Collins books ~ if you know what I mean.
Don't go into this book thinking you are going to be reading the next Pulitzer....your not. Your going to be reading Jackie Collins at her best.
