I have been looking for this book in every used bookstore I've been in for two years, and last week I found it at Green Apple in San Francisco!

Hoffman spoke at my graduation. Or someone else's; I forget. More famously, he was a Poet Laureate at one point.

Daniel Hoffman has a wonderful book here. This book is a compilation of poetry from several other books penned by Daniel Hoffman as well as some others.

I think anyone who likes reading poetry should give this book a chance - you won't be disappointed.

Daniel Hoffman served as Poet Laureate in 1973-74 (when the post was known as Consultant in Poetry of The Library of Congress). His first book, An Armada of Thirty Whales, was W. H. Auden's choice for the 1954 Yale Series of Younger Poets.
