this is a book about black-and-white photography from the pre-digital days - the sample photos aren't quite as striking, some of the nudes are even scary. but you get to know the nuts-and-bolts of creating the shot and DEVELOPING it, because you'll never get to do it especially if, like me, you use a digital SLR - at the moment Canon D60. THANKS AVI for this book!
