Actually, I have read Cynthia Hogue's "Flux" as well as "The Incognito Body," and have marveled at her ability to touch on the inner aspects of the small and the big things of life by word play, by using the tiny details of the things around us to touch our lives. I know her personally as a friend, and often, I do not take time to talk about my friends' work, but Cynthia's person and her work remind me of what it takes to be a real woman and a real poet.
