Eyewitness-style books are so "in your face."
There are a lot of wonderful pictures, but there are so many and each one has an extensive caption. I'm not sure what I would use this book for in my classroom...not a read aloud, perhaps a reference book...but then it might be challenging for students (and adults!) to find information within the book since the page headings don't seem to follow any kind of predictable sequence, or fall into categories.

Very good book...I actually learned a lot and I teach history
Interesting to learn about differnt religions. I always enjoy learning about the different ways of life.
