This was an amazing story about Robert de Montbryce and his family. The struggle he went through after falling in love with Dorianne daughter to Francois de Giroux, a man that had great hatred towards them because if an old family feud. The book also includes a nice history involving England and Normandy. I found it intriguing and enjoyed the book. Towards the beginning it is slow but once Robert meets Dorianne the book is full of action, mystery and suspense. Then you have a betrayal that cause...more
